Folly Beach
Charleston's most famous beach: a wide sandy strip, a fishing pier, live music at the bars, and a crowd that doesn't take itself too seriously. Folly County Park has restrooms, showers, and lifeguards in season.
Know before you go: Alcohol, glass, and pets are prohibited on the beach. Surfing is best around the Washout.
